Indie Rap

Recently the Bromine Boyz released a hit new single on iTunes entitled "Bro to the Mean." This represents our transition from freestyle to the underground rap movement we like to call Indie Rap. This spectacular genre breaks from the standard rap scene in a trend reminiscent of the 1970's New Wave movement. Incorporating homemade minimalist beats and fast paced lyrics, indie rap represents a new direction.

Soon to become a massive underground hit on the college scene, indie rap will open new doors and allow for a new path to success for up and coming artists. "Bro to the Mean" and our future beats will continue to strip down rap to its barest essentials. Rather than distort rap, we strive to provide a refreshing alternative from the mainstream rap scene. Forget the masking effects of auto-tune and meaningless raps which rely only on distracting sound effects and musical samplings. Rather than relying on a created image or gimmicks as a substitute for lackluster music, the Bromine Boyz focus and will continue to focus on rap in its purest form with meaningful lyrics and only simple beats as we unleash our musical genius.

Most blogs we see started like this maybe have one or two posts and then sit rotting into internet oblivion. But we're not like that.

We're lyricists, we're purists, we have the hard working attitude of bygone generations.
